12:59pm: im so happy i love this weather gwen is awesome wills visit was awesome i love all my friends and im so happy with everything and theres so much awesome music in the world.

everything really is just totally fine. i was worried for awhile that i was gonna go through a stupid depressed for no reason thing but it blew over and im fine.

and on a side note, the lyrics on feels are so awesome. like some of it is total nonsense but then theres some lines that are just so great.

11:27pm: every day i work on this cd i make my life harder.

seriously, i have no idea how im going to do this live.

i realized im basically going to have to write a second version of half the songs to do live or something. im mad worried. and i feel like because i dont really have the time and the people to play most of the songs correctly, its going to be boring because itll just be me and occasionally a couple other people who just learned the parts or dont know them at all.

the good part about doing this by yourself is you can take however long you want and its exactly what you want. but the bad part is not having a band who knows all the parts and can do live shows and actually cares about it.

i just really hope people buy the cd because im working really hard on it and whether the live shows are good or not, the cd really is good, i promise!

10:35pm: right now i miss: star island, my sister, molly mcquade (but not for toooo long because shes visiting over thanksgiving break!), david, sam, adam, brian, rosie, joe, will ronco, not wearing shoes, waking up to seagulls, looking at stars, walking around a little island really late in the afternoon while the sun set, waking up everyday for a week and being amazed at every single thing i saw, telling everyone i loved them, meaning it, not thinking that was weird, not being mad at anyone, hugging people i didnt even know, getting to play music every night for people i loved, will christianson (but not for long because hes visiting NEXT WEEKEND!), andrea tzvetkov, kate zehner, sarah dinan, and about a million other nouns.

probably the majority of the songs on my album are about star island. everytime i sit down to write something it reminds me of star island in some aspect, and i write something else about it

i need to get back to how i was there. i was so happy and i loved everything and everyone and i just couldnt contain my happiness and it felt so good to make other people feel good about themselves. and even though i still have some of that, its not the same. school just barely started and ive already gone back to giving a shit about petty fights and stuff. it really doesnt matter. the best thing i can do for myself is just be as happy as i was and stop caring about things that dont really matter.

so i need to: stop fighting with anyone, let people know i appreciate them and love them, make people feel good about themselves, stop being selfish, take a second to realize every great thing that happens everyday, forget about the unimportant bad stuff, and generally recognize that life is incredible and just to be alive is an amazing thing. because i miss feeling that way.

5:40pm: so after school jon came over and we rocked out to: journey, dio, ah ha, kiiii, van halen, sandstorm, power rangers theme song (but thats a given), mxpx, and brand new. oh and sandstorm.

and let me tell you, jons forte is rocking out to 80's metal. oh and sandstorm.

i wish ugly casanova was amazing. i mean theyre good, but so disapointing. how can you have isaac brock, the guy form holopaw, two people from red red meat, and some other guy i think, and only be ok?

they should probably be the best band ever to exist. but nay, theyre only pretty good. except for hotcha girls that song is bangin.

12:03am: this evening was quite pleasant. matt and i had our first nice walkin talkin night in a long long time. i missed the kid and it was good to have someone to talk to.

this was the first good day all week. i actually forgot about most of the stuff after just talking with matt and it felt nice not to be worrying about it.

6:57pm: im so sad that im going to go through fall and winter single again. last year was so hard, and all i wanted was somebody to hug when it was really lightly snowing and there were no cars downtown and there was this really pretty yellow street light and somebody to go to movies with and get tea afterwards and link arms because its cold and i wanted to walk somebody home and feel so happy and not be able to stop smiling walking back to my house. just one of those days would still be really really awesome.
